Q. What has Calsense introduced that’s new to the industry?
A. Calsense introduced a new radio remote called Remote SENSE: a powerful labor management tool that puts a high degree of irrigation control and trouble-shooting ability in a hand-held device. When away from a controller, you can activate a valve and view operational details, such as valve on, area description, flow rate in gallons per minute, electrical use and remaining time. You can view and edit station information: total minutes, minutes per cycle, soak in time, expected flow rate and square footage. The keypad is user friendly and provides for immediate intuitive operation based on years of customer feedback.
Remote SENSE is used with our model controller: the ET2000e. This ET2000e is both a weather and soil-moisture based controller. Standard features include optimized water windows and maximum pump efficiency through effective flow management.
