Calsense Attends Annual Symposium

Calsense is a proud sponsor of Colorado WaterWise, whose mission is to address the state’s water challenges by improving water efficiency through diverse community connections, innovative solutions and valuable member resources.
Calsense had the honor of attending and sponsoring their annual symposium, where our team met with more than 65 attendees. This event gave the community of Colorado the opportunity to come together through education and to connect with people who are working to protect and conserve the world’s most precious resource, water.
The Symposium held a variety of sessions on topics, such as drought and innovative agriculture methods. Keynote speaker Matt Makens examined the megadrought in the south and southwest and he shared his insights into the impact of climate events like this. Professor and researcher Jennifer Bousselot discussed Agrivoltaics, the process of growing crops under solar panels. This innovation was demonstrated with the example of solar panels on rooftops. Calsense is excited to continue its relationship with Colorado Water Wise and to support the organization’s continued efforts to improve the state’s water resources.
