Calsense Welcomes Jarrod Hammes as Chief Operating Officer to Drive Next Phase of Growth

Carlsbad, CA — Calsense, a leader in smart irrigation technology, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jarrod Hammes as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Jarrod will oversee sales, marketing, service, and people/culture initiatives, playing a crucial role in the executive leadership team to propel Calsense into its next stage of growth.
Jarrod brings a wealth of experience in product development, corporate growth, and marketing. Before joining Calsense, he served as Chief Product Officer for Pandas, a Greek Circular Economy company dedicated to environmental responsibility. He also held the position of Director of Corporate Development at ecoATM, a global mobile phone trading company, where he significantly contributed to strategic growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, Jarrod was Vice President of Marketing for IP Video Networks, a San Diego-based technology solutions provider for the cable and broadcast industries.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jarrod has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service. He previously served as Board Chairman for Adjoin, a San Diego nonprofit supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and veterans. Additionally, he contributed his financial expertise as Treasurer for the UCSD Alumni Board and remains a dedicated student of behavioral economics.
