Calsense’s Financial Controller, Ashley Heiser was announced as one of the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce’s 40 under 40 for 2021!

Every year the Carlsbad Business Journal highlights 40 emerging leaders under 40-years old. These individuals are not just the leaders of the future, but already making a major impact in our community today.

Ashley has been with Calsense since mid-July of 2020 and has been crucial to the company’s growth and development. As a result she will continue to play a key part in our future. She has been an influential leader with Calsense and will continue to grow in the company.

Her accomplishments include:

Successfully transitioning all accounting and finance functions previously outsourced, in-house. Through the development of process and procedures while improving and maintaining existing controls Ashley was able to achieve this transition.
Navigated the challenges of a COVID-19 world utilizing and researching various stimulus programs offered at state and federal levels. She also implemented new accounting automation programs to create efficiencies and aid the establishment of a remote workforce.
Serves as member of the leadership team. She utilizes her expertise in financial model development and analysis, to drive strategic business decisions in support of our vision, to creating a more sustainable future.

What is next

Ashley will continue influencing Calsense’s growth with her vast financial and business knowledge. Her future goal is to continue learning and growing within the accounting & finance community.
