Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (MCAS) won the Customer of the Year Award from WateReuse on March 26, 2018.  As stated from the Defense Visual Information Distribution Service, “with this award, WateReuse annually recognized MCAS Miramar people and projects that have made significant contributions to water reuse and desalination. Recipients have successfully advanced the development of alternative water supplies or developed a novel approach to meeting local water needs.”

In the video below, MCAS credits Calsense and other projects for their water savings efforts. In 2014 they created a Water Conservation board, which not only established the Calsense centralized irrigation control system, but also established recycled water wash stations and an expansion of their recycled water systems throughout their site.

Calsense is extremely proud to see the accomplishments our customers achieve with the aid of our irrigation control systems and other sustainable efforts.
