Executive Summary

The District test drove the Calsense system in 2012 at Hutcheson Junior High School, and since then has adopted Calsense as their standard specification for irrigation control. Water savings increased and public phone calls decreased when the controller did not come on when it rained or actively shut down high flow breaks. Currently there are 5 controllers utilizing Ethernet installed, with product specified on all new AISD designs and planned retrofits.
