Executive Summary

GA Tech Housing test drove the Calsense system in 2006 with soil moisture sensors, an ET gage and a Tipping Rain bucket. There are 13 controllers communicating via Ethernet. There is one FLOWSENSE™ chain on campus. Facilities followed in 2007 and currently have 63 controllers. Their system communicates thru an Ethernet HUB to 450 MHz radios to all controllers. The department utilizes Spread Spectrum radio for the 10 FLOWSENSEsystems on campus.
