Executive Summary

USC has been growing their Calsense central control system for over 14 years, with 66 controllers on the main campus and about 20 at the Health Sciences Campus. Flow monitoring and detection of breaks is a valuable asset. The original system went in with analog phone line to HUBs to 450 MHz radios. Currently reviewing the upgrade of HUBs to Ethernet, WiFi, or possibly GPRS cellular technology.
